Advice on booking your wedding band or entertainment...

Something we get asked regularly is 'when should we book our wedding band or entertainment...

...to be honest, we always advise as early as possible! With Saturdays being such a sought after date these days, Saturdays in a wedding bands diary are always the first dates to get snapped up. It's also worth noting that Fridays are a busy date in the calendar...
  
'I have a friend that has a band and they have offered to do it very cheaply...'

There is often a reason for this! Whilst your friends band may be successful in what they do, do they have the experience in choosing the right songs for the right audience? All of our wedding bands are either full time professional musicians or very busy semi-pro musicians, performing every week. They really do know how to get the party going due to the experience of performing at literally hundreds of wedding receptions.

'Why should I use an entertainment agency? I've heard it may be cheaper to book a wedding band directly?

This isn't neccessarily the case. We are here to negotiate the best possible price for you and booking through an agent provides you with additional safeguards should things go wrong. If an act has to pull out through illness or another unforeseen problem (highly unlikely) we'll work hard to find you a replacement, even if it's at the last minute. In the rare case that something goes wrong and as a third party to the contract between yourself and the act, we'll do all we can to rectify the situation.

It was just a few weeks ago that our excellent 60s tribute band THE REVOLVERS performed at the Premiere after party for the launch of MADE IN DAGENHAM at 'Floridita' in London's West End...

Made in Dagenham is the latest film from the director of 'Calendar Girls', Nigel Cole...

The Revolvers put on a storming show with stars such as Rosamund Pike, Dominic Cooper and Jaime Winstone dancing the night away to the band. You can see them getting down to the band by clicking here

'THE REVOLVERS' confirmed for post Premiere Party of 'MADE IN DAGENHAM'...

We are delighted to annouce that 'THE REVOLVERS' our brilliant 60's tribute band have been confimed to appear at a swish post premiere party on the 20th September for the launch of MADE IN DAGENHAM in London's bustling West-End...

MADE IN DAGENHAM is a new comedy-drama from the director of 'Calendar Girls' with an all star british cast that includes the likes of, Sally Hawkins Miranda Richardson, Bob Hoskins. Rosamund Pike etc

The film stars the award winning Sally Hawkins as Rita O'Grady who is the catalyst for the 1968 Ford Dagenham strike by 187 sewing machinists which led to the advent of the Equal Pay Act...

We can't really say too much more about the event and it's location at the minute but we'll hopefully have some photos up of The Revolvers performance very soon!

Hull University's End of Year Ball is one of the largest events of it's kind and 2010 is no different!
