We've had a good trawl around the internet looking for a definitive list of what you need to ask your wedding venue at your showing. We haven't yet found one that has all the know-how when it comes to getting a band or musician into the venue so we've compiled our own!
1.If the venue is outdoors, is there a back-up option for
inclement weather? Will the back-up space accommodate the same number of guests?
2.Are there noise level restrictions that must be adhered to?
3.Are there any requirements for suppliers (ie the DJ has to have public liability & PAT testing of his equipment)?/ Is there sufficient power supply? 4. What is the capacity of the room? Don’t forget that room capacities include everyone in your ceremony,
not just your guests. Make sure there is room (both numerically and
physically) for your photographer, videographer and musicians. 5.What time does music need to stop and when does everyone need to be gone by?
Let us know if you think we've missed anything of the listbut we reckon if you confirm the above then you're eready to get that band booked in!
