The Merseybeats mark their 50th anniversary this year and there's been no loss to the excitement of their performances. With such million selling hits as 'I Think of You', 'Don't Turn Around' and 'Wishin & Hopin' The Merseybeats worked closely with The Beatles, who they hold the distinction of performing with more than any other band of the era.

Mike Pender gained global fame in the 60's with The Searchers, who made themselves a household name with 'Sweets for my Sweet', 'When You Walk in the Room' and 'Needles and Pins'.
