What did you do at Christmas & New Years Eve?

 

A question I'm sure you've been asked any number of times over the past week, 'What did you do over Christmas and New Years Eve?...'

...Well hopefully like many of you, we managed to enjoy at least a few days away from the office doing the inevitable catch-up with family and friends. The same can't be said for our live party bands and tribute acts who were as busy as ever over Christmas and New Years Eve, travelling the length and breadth of the country performing at many company Christmas parties, live music venues, hotels, birthdays and even some winter wedding receptions...

It's also testiment to our live bands, tribute acts, and all the other entertainers that were out on the road for us, that our emergency number was called only once during the Christmas season and over New Years Eve due to a serious road accident. Even then, the act still made it with time to spare before the venue's doors opened. So a big well done and thanyou to the acts that have worked so hard for us over the Christmas season...

We're now back in the office and raring to get stuck into what looks like a busy 2013!

Glee Club Tribute Show appearing tonight at the DW Stadium!

Our fabulous Glee tribute show will be appearing tonight at Wigan's DW Stadium...

The Glee Club Show will be providing the pre-kick off entertainment out on the pitch for the clash of Wigan Warriors vs Hull FC.

Based in Manchester but available for events and venue's nationwide, The Glee Club Tribute Show features high impact choreography and live vocals, covering the biggest hits from the show.

Debbie Nunn - Madonna Tribute Act

Henderson Management book live entertainment for a variety of events, far & wide and last weekend was no exception!

We had the likes of Debbie Nunn as Madonna and the KaiserThiefs/Blurb performing at RAF Honington for the return party of those based out in Afghanistan...

'Just wanted to thank you for your help with our function. As always the bands delivered and were a credit to your agency! Debbie Nunn as Madonna opened for us and delivered excellently with two 30 min sets. Kaiser Thiefs/Blurb belted out quality tunes as expected. The Soul Survivors

Our superb Michael Jackson tribute act, Robert Alexander Giles, was performing at 2 events this weekend. First of all it was off to Liverpool for performance at a wedding reception and then out to La Manga, Spain for another private event... 

...some may say, the UK's finest classic soul/party band - The Soul Survivors - were performing last Wednesday at a leading venue in Leeds...

...The fabulous, The Great Pretender, Freddie Mercury tribute show - featuring Steve Littlewood, performed at an intimate but beautifully set birthday party in the West Midlands. Even getting the birthday boy up on-stage with him(!)

He was amazing – Steve turned up on time – slightly early actually – took no time at all to set up, got fully in tune with the surprise for my husband Roy – he needed very little of my time or attention – which was great as other people did...and then...his performance was awesome. He really was an entertainer. I’ve had nothing but tremendous feedback from the guests. He got Roy & my 2 lads on stage (well upper patio actually!) in the 2nd half which just stole the show! All in all 10/10 and a star! Thanks for the reccomendation. Next year they are 18 & 21 so goodness knows how we are going to top this year!' Sue Lyness

Tribute Acts Do The Business at University Events...

Last week, saw several Henderson Management tribute acts appearing at various Universty events all over the UK...

Nina the Lady GaGa tribute, rocked Hull University Summer's Ball, performing to over 2000 students...

Hull University's End of Year Ball is one of the largest events of it's kind and 2010 is no different!

Briefcase Blues Brothers tribute & the Eighties Invasion to appear at Keeping It Live, next week...

Two of our fantastic tribute acts / bands will be appearing at the one of UK's largest light entertainment showcases, KEEPING IT LIVE! Keeping It Live! will be held this year in Coventry on the 10th, 11th & 12th November.

Our fantastic Blues Brothers tribute act, the Briefcase Blues Brothers   will be hitting the stage during the afternoon session on Tuesday 10th November and our fabulous 80's tribute band the Eighties Invasion strut their stuff on Wedndesday 11th November, again during the afternoon session.
